Advertising your event on Eventwatch

Follow these simple steps to advertise your event on Eventwatch: 

1. Register your organisation  - provide a few basic contact details and a valid email address

2. Enter your event details  - enter a comprehensive description of your event

3. Feature Advertising (optional)  - you can choose to have your event promoted on the front page of EventWatch.com.au

 1. Registering your Organisation.  

Eventwatch requires you to register your organisation to ensure the integrity of the event information. We collect only information that allows us to maintain contact with your organisation and provide validation where appropriate.  When you register you are establishing an Administrator account. The administrator has access permissions that allow the creation and editing of your event information 24 hours a day, every day.

  Registration is straight forward, using the following steps:  

1. Click Submitting Events on the menu bar

2. Complete the on-line form

3. You will receive an email confirming your registration, you must click on the confirmation link in the email to verify registration.

4. Once you have confirmed your registration you can logon to create or edit your on-line event listing.

5. Entering your events is FREE.

2.   Entering Event Details

An event must be a bona fide event, and have a valid start and end-date.  Maximum duration for an event is 30 days (ie You can't submit an event that runs every day all year).  You can list your event for as long as you like, for example list an event now for an event in 12 months time.  There are status options for events that are provisional or unconfirmed, that allow you to list and confirm when the dates become firm.

Eventwatch provides some special features such as: 

• Copy Event – Allows you to copy and edit an existing event to save re-entering all the details.

• Activities Page – where you can add a program, activity list or agenda covering the duration of your event.

• Message service – which allows you to add a prominently displayed message about important changes such as cancellations, venue changes or sold out details.

• Sponsor details - Allows you to give your valuable sponsors a plug.

3.   Feature Advertising on the www.EventWatch.com.au web site

 You can promote your event on the front page of EventWatch.com.au.
